Family Support Circle considers values education and considers it to be the keystone to sustainable development. For this reason, the board of directors has agreed to expand the organization in Haiti to help and aid young people in need of quality education and a better way of life. Within FSC’s person-centered philosophy, is a deep commitment to be providers of supports with specific expertise in education, youth development, in-home support and community access program for youth, adults and elderly who are medically fragile and those individuals with Developmental Disabilities in the United States and quality education in Haiti.
By supporting, strengthening, and expanding the our services to school in Haiti, we are providing children with the tools they need to create their own future.
The international program in Haiti focuses on providing a mean to an end for children who have never set foot in school to have the opportunity to receive quality education. The FSC international school in Haiti will educate children from pre-k through high school. The school will open and operate five (5) days a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30AM – 3:30PM with after school to help with homework from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. There will be a summer enrichment program during the summer months to keep children busy and active from 8:30AM to 3:30 PM. Students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch in school as they may not have the opportunity to eat a regular meal at home once school is out for the summer.
