About the School in Haiti
In June 2016, Family Support Circle, Inc. launched a year-long educational program in Haiti to serve children from pre-K through high school.
The program officially started during the 2016-2017 school year, and we are now proudly in our ninth year (2024-2025). The school operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with an after-school homework support program from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. During the summer, the school provides a Summer Enrichment Program to keep students engaged and learning.
Currently, the school is operating in a church building, where day-to-day instruction takes place. Despite limited resources, the school provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and receive the support they need to thrive.
For many students, the meals provided at school are the only ones they will eat all day.
Without this program, many of these children would go hungry during the summer months when traditional school sessions end.
